About
- Surgical gastroenterologist trained at one of India’s best hospitals and since has had accelerated career progression to role of leading a team over a short span of 12 years.
- Established and sustained a liver transplant program at PSRI over last 2½ years. He was selected for this role considering his experience with over 1200 live donor liver transplants. He established the clinical, para-clinical and support teams required for the service.
- He trained a team in a government hospital in Gambhat, Pakistan to develop their liver transplant program through regular frequent visits. This team now independently performs 8-10 liver transplants every month.
- Recognised as key opinion leader by The Transplant Society in 2011.

- Consultant at Sir Ganga Ram hospital New Delhi in the department of surgical gastroenterology and liver transplantation were performed. In addition to leading a unit in the department, he was the academic coordinator and a guide to DNB fellow.
