To create a script that will run on startup, open the

Save the script and then double-click on it to run it. The script will print "Hello World" to the terminal.
To make the script run on startup, open the
System Preferences
application and click on the Users & Groups
icon. Then, click on your user account and select the Login Items
tab. Click on the
+
button and select the script that you created. The script will now run on startup.
