Dr. Vladimir Tchouprine is an accomplished ocular surgeon with 33 years of extensive expertise in both Russia and the United Arab Emirates. He is credited with creating novel surgical methods and instruments that enhanced patient care and outcomes.

In the Middle East, he was the first surgeon to use corneal rings, ICL, and cross-linking, and he has since performed about 5000 such operations.

He had invented and implemented simultaneous keratoplasty, cataract, and IOL implantation operations back in Russia. Additionally, he used the Excimer laser to establish a novel technique for non-penetrating glaucoma surgery.

In his lengthy career, Dr. Tchouprine has also led other ophthalmology departments.
