- He pioneered microsurgery in the Armed Forces and has vast experience of Uro-Oncology and Pediatric Urology.
- His work in Endo-Urology and Vascular reconstructions has won him international acclaim.
- He has performed several complicated Genito-urinary reconstructive operations including the very recent ‘sex change’ or ‘sex reassignment’ surgery.
- He has conducted operative workshops all over the country and actively participated in regional, national and international professional conferences.
- He is an examiner and Inspector of the National Board of Examinations and also a visiting Professor of Urology at CMC, Ludhiana and Guwahati Medical College.
