Dr. Rudra Prosad Ghosh is an Ophthalmologist/Eye surgeon with over 16 years of experience. He has worked as Resident Surgeon and clinical Tutor at the Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Medical College, Kolkata, which was part of his postgraduate teaching as well as clinical post. He has performed more than 4000 phacoemulsification surgeries over the years apart from Glaucoma, Lacrimal, Eyelid and Keratoplasty Surgeries etc. He also performs retinal and anterior segment laser surgery apart from ophthalmic diagnostic procedures like spectralis 3D OCT, ICG Angiography, Fundus Fluorescein Angiography, B-Scan Ultrasonography, Stratus Optical Coherence Tomography, GDX-VCC. He is also highly specialized in the use of advanced ophthalmic equipment like AMO Sovereign (White-star) phacoemulsification System, Alcon Infiniti Phaco System, Bausch & Lomb Stellaris, Oertli Phaco System, etc. He is a notable member of All India Ophthalmological Society, Ophthalmological Society of West Bengal and Indian Medical Association.
