Dr. Qays Shimal, a specialist neurosurgeon, has extensive expertise treating congenital traumatic and neoplastic brain diseases in both children and adults. He has a particular interest in treating neoplastic diseases of the spine and the brain.

He participates in numerous training programmes for managing degenerative spine disease and has successfully completed numerous microscopic and minimally invasive spine procedures.

After I left NMC Speciality Hospital in 2006 after serving for 13 years as its head of neurosurgery, he joined Prime Hospital in 2019.
