Dr. Abhishek is a graduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MS) from mahatma Gandhi institute of medical sciences, sewagram. He is trained in minimal access surgeries from Pius hospital, Oldenburg, Germany. He was also trained in bariatric and metabolic surgery by world renowned bariatric surgeon Dr C.K. Huang at Taiwan followed by robotic surgery training at Severance hospital, Seoul, south korea. He has more than 10 years of training and experience in bariatric & metabolic surgery.He is a board certified member of the American Society of metabolic and bariatric surgery (ASMBS) and the Obesity and Metabolic Surgery Society of India (OSSI). He is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
