Dr. Mithal is an endocrinologist and he has more than 30 years of experiences. Currently, he's the Chairman and Head of Endocrinology and Diabetes at Max Healthcare, Saket, New Delhi. Earlier he was associated with the Medanta as a chairman, Division of Endocrinology and Diabetes. Before that, he worked at Apollo Hospital, New Delhi, and Sanjay Gandhi PGIMS, Lucknow.
Dr. Mithal was awarded the International Osteoporosis Foundation President's Award in March 2016 and Dr. B C Roy Award in 2017.
