Dr Krishna Sundaram is a gastroenterology consultant at West Middlesex University Hospital and the Chelsea and Westminster NHS Trust. He currently serves as the service lead for endoscopy and is also an accredited bowel cancer screening colonoscopist. Dr Sundaram specialises in a number of areas including GI disease, IBS, inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's and colitis), peptic ulceration, dyspepsia, Helicobacter pylori infection, polyps, and gastrointestinal cancers. He performs both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy including upper GI, colonoscopy, PEG tubes, stents, dilation, and capsule endoscopy (pill camera).

Dr Sundaram first qualified with his MBBS from the University of London in 1992 following the completion of his bachelor's degree in 1989. During this time, he trained at Guy's Hospital/UMDS before going on to pursue his specialist training in internal medicine and gastroenterology in the South West. During this time Dr Sundaram carried out research on Helicobacter pylori and later became a member of the Royal College of Physicians. In 2004, he was appointed as consultant gastroenterologist in his current role, giving him extensive experience at consultant level.
