Professor John Hollingdale, Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon, is a highly experienced surgeon with over 32 years of experience in his field.
Prof. Hollingdale began his medical education at Westminster Medical School in which he qualified in 1975. He then went on to complete his speciality training in orthopaedics in the Northwest London Hospitals training rotations.
Prof. Hollingdale has had an active role in the development and promotion of minimally invasive total knee replacements, creating great results with shorter recovery times. More recently, he has had training in robotically assisted hip and knee replacement. He contributes to the education of his colleagues by working on many cadaver courses throughout Europe. He also held the position of president of the International Society for Technology in Arthroplasty In 2010. He has also previously served on the council for the British Orthopaedic Association.
