Dr Joe Marais trained as a junior doctor in Ear, Nose & Throat Surgery in London and Edinburgh. He continued training as a Senior Registrar in Edinburgh before working in Texas, USA doing a Chief Resident's post. Subsequently, Mr Marais also undertook fellowship training in Toronto at the world famous Toronto General. He was appointed as a Consultant Rhinologist, Nasal Plastic & ENT Surgeon at Northwick Park Hospital in 2000.
As a Rhinologist and Nasal Plastic Surgeon, Mr. Marais receives many tertiary referrals of difficult and challenging sinus and rhinoplasty cases from other ENT Surgeons in the area. He has been involved in Private Practice in London since 2000 and helps not only patients locally, but sees many patients from abroad as well. He has many publications and has lectured both nationally and internationally.
