Acıbadem, Rumah Sakit Bakırköy

As the first hospital of Acbadem Health Group in Europe, Acbadem Bakrköy Hospital opened its doors in 2000. Inpatient floors and surgical rooms underwent infrastructural and technological upgrades in 2008 and 2009 in order to better serve patients and fulfil the growing demand.

The inpatient floors and polyclinics were finally updated in 2017. Expectant mothers, mothers, and their babies continue to receive treatment in the renovated obstetrics ward, baby room, and neonatal intensive care unit.

There are 102 beds, 7 operating rooms, 27 intensive care beds, and a helipad for emergency transfers within the hospital's 18.000 m2 closed area. All types of building issues can be immediately addressed thanks to the smart building technology, which enables control from 6,500 locations.

Newborns with dangerous and critical diseases are cared for in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of Acbadem Bakrköy Hospital by neonatologists, paediatricians, paediatric surgeons, and neonatal nurses from all subspecialties.

In addition, there are sections for Radiology, Check Up, Gastroenterology, Angiography, Stend procedures, Neurosurgery with Navigation, Varicose Vein Treatment, Obesity, Breast Health, Colonoscopy, Endoscopy, and EUS procedures, as well as all Cardiological Services, Cardiovascular Surgery, Varicose Vein Polyclinic, Sexual Dysfunction, and Radiology with wide package content.
