Centre national de cardiologie de Singapour

Established in 1998, the National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS) is a national and regional referral center for cardiovascular diseases. As a pioneer in cardiovascular care in Singapore, NHCS offers comprehensive cardiac care, from preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic to rehabilitative services. It is the only heart and lung transplantation center in Singapore, handling over 120,000 outpatient consultations, 9,000 interventional and surgical procedures, and 10,000 inpatients yearly.

NHCS has achieved clinical outcomes for heart attack treatment, balloon angioplasty with stenting, and coronary bypass surgery equivalent to international benchmarks. In 2024, Newsweek's World's Best Specialized Hospital ranked NHCS as the top specialized hospital for Cardiology in Singapore. This recognition follows the Top 3 ranking in the 'Best Specialized Hospitals APAC 2023' for Cardiology and placement among the Top 100 in the 'World’s Best Specialised Hospital' for 2023, 2022, 2021 (SGH-Cardiology), and 2019.

NHCS is part of SingHealth, the largest healthcare group in Singapore, offering multi-disciplinary and integrated medical care. SingHealth comprises four Hospitals (Singapore General Hospital, KK Women's and Children's Hospital, Changi General Hospital, and Sengkang General Hospital), community hospitals (including Sengkang Community Hospital, Bright Vision Hospital, and Outram Community Hospital), five National Specialty Centers (National Heart Centre Singapore, National Cancer Centre Singapore, National Dental Centre Singapore, National Neuroscience Institute, and Singapore National Eye Centre), and a network of polyclinics.
