• Your liver wounds should heal in three to six months. You might possibly return to work. If they are still tired, some people prefer to return to work part-time.
• You could start doing strenuous workouts and weightlifting in a year. However, you must first obtain permission from the transplant team before engaging in these activities.

Support and aftercare at home:

When you go home from your liver transplant, you should start doing muscle-toning exercises and walking for 5 to 10 minutes every day. To improve overall recuperation, gradually increase the time each week.

Ask for any medical help from your hospital up to three weeks after your discharge.
