Dr Krishnan Baburaj is a Consultant Rheumatologist with over two decades of experience in practicing holistic rheumatology. His special interests include joint pain and inflammation, osteoporosis and arthritis, as well as general rheumatology and metabolic bone disease. He currently practices at the West Herts NHS Trust, made up of Watford General and St Albans Hospital, as well as various Spire Healthcare and BMI Healthcare private practices.
Dr Baburaj qualified in medicine in 1990, and went on to gain his post graduate qualifications: he completed his specialist training at The Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and gained membership with the Royal College of Physicians and the British Society for Rheumatology. After this, he took up his Consultant post at the West Herts Trust, in 2005. In addition to his post, he also trains junior GPs in Rheumatology and its associated medical procedures, such as joint injections.
