Dr Alexander Wu is a Consultant in General Medicine who specialises in the health and care of older people. She has a particular interest in orthogeriatrics, falls, Parkinson's disease and dementia.
She was appointed Consultant Physician in Health Services for Elderly People (HSEP) at the Royal Free London in 1993. She has developed the department into a centre of excellence, which now has 11 consultants and a large team of multidisciplinary team. She was appointed Clinical director in Acute Medicine and Health Services for Elderly People in 2009 and has also taken the post of Clinical Director of Respiratory Medicine.
