Mr. Sinan Barazi serves as a Consultant Neurosurgeon at the London Neurosurgery Partnership, a division of HCA Healthcare UK. His areas of expertise include facial pain, endoscopic pituitary/anterior skull base surgery, lateral skull base surgery, and various spinal disorders such as back pain, neck pain, sciatica, and arm pain, along with degenerative spine conditions.
Originally from Copenhagen, Denmark, Mr. Barazi obtained his medical qualification from King’s College Hospital School of Medicine in London in 1996. Prior to his basic surgical training, he served with the 14th Parachute Regiment in Toulouse, France. Following the completion of his Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2002, he commenced his neurosurgery training in London. He gained experience at various institutions including King’s College Hospital, Atkinson Morley’s Hospital, St George’s Hospital, and Hurstwood Park Neurological Centre.
In 2009, Mr. Barazi achieved the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (Neurosurgery). Towards the conclusion of his training, he pursued a fellowship in endoscopic pituitary surgery in Bologna under the guidance of Dr. Giorgio Frank. Subsequently, he underwent training under Dr. Andrew King and Scott Rutherford in Manchester as a Neurosurgical Skull Base Fellow. In 2010, he was appointed as a Consultant Neurosurgeon at King’s College Hospital. Mr. Barazi is actively engaged in national and international lecturing on various neurosurgical topics, including treatment modalities for facial pain, endoscopic pituitary/anterior skull base surgery, and spinal surgery.
