Mr Ronan McKeown is a highly experienced and skilled Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon with a focus on shoulder, knee, foot, and ankle surgeries. He is known for his expertise in arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgeries, joint stabilisation, rotator cuff repair, arthritis, joint replacement, meniscal repair, and bunion surgery. With his special interest in impingement syndrome and frozen shoulder, he provides excellent treatment to his patients.
As the Lead Clinician for Trauma and Orthopaedics in the Southern Trust, Mr McKeown has established himself as a highly respected medical professional in his field. He is a graduate of Queen’s University Belfast Medical School and completed his trauma and orthopaedic training as part of the NI Regional scheme. In addition, he was awarded a Doctorate of Medicine (M.D.) by Queen’s University Belfast in 2003 for his clinical research.
