Mr Mark Lynch is a Consultant specialising in the field of Urology. He works as the Clinical Lead for Urology at Croydon University Hospital and as a Consultant in the Endourology Unit at St George's Hospital. He has a particular interest in kidney stones, prostate cancer and minimally invasive surgery. Mr Lynch is also a Trustee of The British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS) and represents South London on BAUS Council.
Education
Mr Lynch graduated in Biochemistry from Imperial College London in 1994, before qualifying in Medicine from the University of London in 2000. He undertook his postgraduate medical training in the London Deanery at St George's Hospital, King's College Hospital and the Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Skills
His extensive training has provided him with the necessary skills to perform complex stone and minimally invasive surgical procedures and using bipolar and laser procedures to manage prostate symptoms.
Research
Apart from his clinical work, he has presented his research both nationally and internationally and has published his research in 40 international papers.
Consultations
Mr Lynch also provides consultations on the investigation and management of diseases affecting the kidney, prostate, urethra and bladder, with extensive knowledge and experience in his field.
