Dr. Yaser Habrawi has extensive expertise spanning 30 years at prestigious hospitals in Syria and the United Arab Emirates. His research focuses on anterior segment surgery, such as phacoemulsification, excimer laser, keratoplasties (penetrating and lamellar), and phakic IOLs. There are non-diabetic vitrectomies as well, such as dropped nuclei, vitreous haemorrhage, total and subtotal RD vitrectomies using silicone oil and air-fluid exchange.

He began working for a private clinic in the United Arab Emirates before moving on to places like Al Garhoud Private Hospital, Al Zahra Hospital, Clemenceau Medical Center, and others.

He has held a number of distinguished roles since 2001, including Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh; Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons, Glasgow; Examiner of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons, Glasgow; and many more.
