Mr Andrew Davies is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in Knee Surgery based in London. He currently sees private patients at London Bridge Hospital, Lister Hospital, Nuffield Health Parkside Hospital, Fortius Surgical Centre, Fortius Clinic King William Street, Fortius Clinic Wimbledon and Fortius Clinic Fitzhardinge Street.
He completed his medical degree at the University of Manchester in 1988. He completed his specialist orthopaedic surgery training within the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital rotation. In addition to his training he also completed fellowships in Sports and Knee Surgery in Sydney and Perth in Australia, equipping him with further experience and skill in different surgical techniques. Mr Davies later qualified as a Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon in 1999.
He was first appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic specialising in Knee Surgery in 2000 in Guy's & St Thomas' Hospital, London.
Mr Davies has expertise in all areas of knee surgery, particularly in soft tissue knee surgery, and has successfully performed over 2,000 ACL reconstructions. He also has expertise in the treatment of sports injuries, including surgical procedures such as cartilage surgery, meniscal repair and ligament reconstruction surgeries. He also undertakes knee joint replacement surgeries and arthroscopy, including revision surgery.
