Dr. Radu Iosub is a visiting consultant general adult and addiction psychiatrist at Priory Hospital Bristol, where he offers assessment and treatment of psychiatric problems in adults.
He completed his medical degree in 2001 and went on to earn a PhD from Giessen University. He then worked as a research fellow in neurophysiology while also teaching medical students. Dr. Iosub completed his training as a psychiatrist in Bristol in 2017, becoming a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2014. He received the Severn Deanery Registrar of the Year award upon completion of his final year. In 2016, he was one of only two UK psychiatrists offered a competitive bursary at the prestigious ECNP Summer School of Neuropsychopharmacology.
Dr. Iosub is also involved in research and has interests in affective anxiety and psychotic spectrum disorders; PTSD; addictions; and dual diagnoses.
