• Dr. Suradej Hongeng is a paediatric haematologist and bone marrow transplant surgeon based in Thailand.
• He has more than 35 years of experience in the medical field, with a specialization in children with bleeding and clotting disorders and abnormalities of red blood cells such as sickle cell and thalassemia.
• He has collaborated with various hospitals and has also conducted research in transplantation.
• He completed his MD in Faculty of Medicine from Mahidol University, Thailand in 1986, and holds several diplomas and fellowships in paediatrics, haematology, and oncology.
• He has been awarded the Marie Curie Action fellowship- award for his contribution to the Medical field.
• Dr. Hongeng is currently associated with Piyavate Hospital, Bangkok, in Thailand.
• He has served as the Scientific Secretary at the Annual Conference of the Thailand Society of Haematology and Transfusion Medicine.
• He is an honorary lifetime member of the American Society of Haematology, Thai Society of Haematology & Blood Transfusion, and the Royal College of Physicians of Thailand.
