Dr Jaymin Morjaria is a Consultant in Respiratory Medicine specialising in airway disease and other lung disorders. He is based at Harefield Hospital and also sees private patients at Bishops Wood Hospital, The Clementine Churchill Hospital, Cromwell Hospital and Harley Street Clinic.
Dr Morjaria completed his medical degree at St Bartholomew's and the Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry at Queen Mary University of London in 2000. He undertook specialist training in Cambridge at the East of England Deanery and moved to the Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust. At this Trust, Dr Morjaria was the lead for the airways service and was principal investigator in several cases involving cough, airway diseases and bronchiectasis.
Dr Morjaria has extensive experience in respiratory medicine and treats those suffering from respiratory conditions such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. He has specialist interests in lung cancer, pleural disease and pulmonary interventions.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr Morjaria holds the position of Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the Imperial College London. He is a reviewer for articles in several peer-reviewed journals and also contributes to the research in these journals. He is also on the editorial board of Therapeutic Advances in Chronic Disease.
