Dr. James Goldring is a consultant physician in respiratory and general medicine at the Cleveland Clinic in London.
His clinical interests include:
Dr. Goldring gained his medical degree in 1998 from the University of Birmingham before completing his training at the London Chest, Royal Brompton, and UCL Hospitals. He then joined the Royal Free in 2011 as a consultant in respiratory and general medicine. He holds additional roles as a clinical associate professor at UCL and medical examiner.
He is the lead clinician for pleural and bronchoscopy services at the Royal Free.
Dr. Goldring is an active researcher and has published books and journal papers in a variety of fields such as COVID-19, pleural disease, lung cancer, COPD, bronchoscopy, and non-invasive ventilation.
He is a member of the British Thoracic Society (BTS) and the European Respiratory Society (ERS).
Outside of work, he likes camping with his family and working on their allotment in his spare time.
