He completed his MBBS from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum, 2008 and MS - General Surgery from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum, 2011. Later, he joined Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi, where he pursued his M.Ch in Surgical Gastroenterology. He stood first in the Delhi university examination.
