• Fellow ship in surgical Onclogy at Memorial Sloane Kettering cancer centre Newyork in 1979 to 1980
• Head surgical oncology at Mafrao Hospital on Ministry of health, Abu Dhabi UAE ( helped in starting a cancer centre in UAE)
• Founder member and initiated and atarted Indian Society of Oncology (ISO) the only platform in India for Oncology Meetings.

• Passionate about breast cancer awareness for doctors and public at large.
• Chairperson of an NGO called "Forum for Breast Protection".
• Produced a short educational film on breast self examination and breast cancer awareness.
