Neurologist, Dr. Puneet Agarwal has 22 years of experience. He was the first to provide Sonothrombolysis to severe stroke victims in North India and at Max Hospital. One of India's earliest doctors, he has studied IV valproate in status epilepticus and inflammatory genes in stroke patients. He has been chosen to serve as a thesis advisor to PhD students at IIT Delhi who are researching the use of brain wave signal processing in a range of brain disorders because he enjoys teaching. He additionally earned his MBBS from King George College in Lucknow before finishing his DM in Neurology at G. B. Pant Hospital, where he won first place.
At UCLA in Los Angeles, California, and Sentara Hospital in Virginia, both in the United States, he later finished a fellowship in critical care neurology and stroke. Additionally, Dr. Agarwal finished a training fellowship in sonothrombolysis, TCD, carotid doppler, and sleep study at National University Hospital in Singapore. Then, in Spain and Amsterdam, more Training Fellowships in DBS, Parkinson's disease, and Botulinum Toxin Injection were made available.
