Dr. Bhaskar Rao has performed over 30,000 surgeries, showcasing his exceptional skills in Cardio-Thoracic Surgery.
He completed his MBBS from Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada Andhra University, India in 1982.
Further, he pursued M.S. from Madras Medical College, Chennai, Madras University, India in 1984.
Dr. Bhaskar Rao obtained his DNB in CT Surgery from the National Board of Examination, New Delhi, India in 1987.
He is a visionary in healthcare, dedicated to making medical facilities accessible to as many people as possible.
Driven by this goal, he established the Bollineni Krishnaiah Charitable Trust, providing free education and medical care to the needy in his native town, Nellore.
He also established Afghanistan’s first state-of-the-art Diagnostic Centre, KIMS Wardhak Diagnostic Centre, in Kabul.
In recognition of his outstanding contributions, he was honored with the Lifetime Achiever of the Year in Cardiology & Cardiothoracic Surgery at the Times Healthcare Achievers Award 2017.
