Dr. Bath previously served as the department head and professor of plastic surgery at the Army Hospital (r&r) Delhi Cantt. Dr. Bath has received numerous honours and awards. Among these are the national Fellowships in Plastic Surgery (1988) and Cosmetic Surgery (1996); the Sena Medal (2004) and Vishisht Seva Medal (2007) given by the President of India; and the 2012 Doctor of the Year Award. In the years 2002 to 2004, he served as president of the Delhi branch of the Association of Plastic Surgeons of India (2007).
He has performed numerous research projects, published more than 30 articles in local and international journals, and served as a teacher and examiner for the DNB and M. Ch. Several top universities offer plastic surgery.
Presently working as a Director in BLK Centre for Plastic, Reconstructive, Aesthetic, Burns & Craniofacial Surgery Department at BLK Super Speciality Hospital, New Delhi.
