Mr Daryll Baker, who has been a Vascular Consultant Surgeon for over 15 years, initially went to Oxford University to do medicine and to the University of Wales where he received his PhD. He then attended Nottingham, Edinburgh and St Mary's Hospital London where he trained in surgery.
Mr Baker runs an NHS Vascular practice at the Royal Free Hospital and University College Hospital.
He is a Senior Lecturer in Vascular Surgery at University College London and him with the help of his team have written and presented over 150 academic papers both nationally and internationally.
Diseases, Medical Tests and Treatments
Daryll read Medicine at Oxford University and trained in Surgery in Nottingham, London and Edinburgh, being a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of both England and Edinburgh. . He obtained his research PhD from the University of Wales. Daryll runs a busy surgical practice in both the NHS and privately, receiving patients from all over Europe and the Middle East. He heads up an active academic research team and supervises several research fellows in their MD PhD studies. This has resulted in many publications in vascular disease pathology and management.
Daryll Baker has been a council member of the Vascular Society and Treasurer and Editorial Secretary of the Society of Academic and Research Surgeons (SARS)which is Europe's leading surgical research society and Director of Communications for the Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland .
