This included Lectureship and Honorary Senior Registrar rotation at St Bart's Hospital, Homerton Hospital and Whipps Cross Hospital.
She has dual accreditation in General (Internal) Medicine and Geriatric Medicine, and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in 2001.

She was appointed Consultant Physician in Health Services for Elderly People (HSEP) at the Royal Free London in 1993.
