Dr Jan Hoong Ho is a Consultant Endocrinologist at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust. He leads the endocrine thyroid service at the trust and his clinical practice includes the management of a wide range of endocrine disorders including thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, pituitary, gonadal and metabolic bone disorders. As part of a large cancer centre, he is also experienced in the management of endocrine complications of cancer treatment.
Dr Ho graduated from the University of Manchester in 2009, and underwent postgraduate training in diabetes and endocrinology in the North West of England. During this time, he completed a PhD in novel cardiovascular risk markers in endocrine and metabolic conditions. His research has resulted in a number of publications, international presentations and awards. Dr Ho continues to maintain a clinical research portfolio in endocrinology.
