Mr. William McClatchie is a dedicated Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a wealth of experience and expertise. His clinical interests include a wide range of conditions related to the hip and knee.
He also specialises in addressing knee pain, knee injuries, and knee replacement.
His educational journey began at Imperial College in 2003. He then pursued higher surgical training in the South West Thames region and completed a fellowship in hip and knee surgery in Cambridge and London. His extensive experience has allowed him to become skilled in various approaches for treating hip and knee pathologies.
Mr. McClatchie's commitment to advancing orthopaedic knowledge is evident in his research contributions. He has published in international journals, presented at international conferences, and completed dissertations at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Epsom and St Helier NHS Trust in 2015, Mr. McClatchie is deeply engaged in treating hip and knee pathologies, including those affecting young adults. His dedication extends to training the next generation of Orthopaedic Surgeons and leading a successful hip fracture unit.
