Mr Sanjeet Bhattacharya is a highly experienced Consultant General and Breast Surgeon. His clinical expertise includes appendicectomy, breast cancer, breast surgery excision biopsy, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, epigastric hernia repair, femoral hernia repair, paraumbilical and umbilical hernia repair and removing benign skin lesions. He is highly skilled and respected in his field.
Mr Bhattacharya completed his medical degree at Bhopal University in 1983, and received his initial surgical training in India. He also holds a Master's degree in General Surgery. Following this, Mr Bhattacharya came to the UK in 2000 for further training and developed his skills further. He is currently a Consultant at Ayr Hospital, where he has been practising since 2009.
Mr Bhattacharya is a Fellow of the prestigious Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Glasgow, and is a member of the Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland. He also has several research publications in medical journals.
