Dr James Andrew Robinson is a Consultant Gastroenterologist with over two decades of experience in the treatment and management of stomach and bowel diseases. He sees private patients at the Ramsay Oaklands Hospital and the Spire Manchester Hospital.
Dr Robinson qualified at Oxford University in 1989 and worked in Oxford before returning to the North West. During his specialist training, he took time out to undertake a PhD funded by the Medical Research Council. He was appointed as a Consultant at Salford Royal Hospital in the Gastroenterology department in 2001. Dr Robinson is the training lead for general medical training in the North West, Clinical Director at Salford Royal Hospital and was the NW regional Advisor for the Royal College of Physicians until 2019.
